Creators - How do I connect Instagram and TikTok?

Connect your Instagram and/or TikTok account to UGC.NL. Brands then see your organic results on your profile, and you can offer add-ons, such as an Organic post and Spark & Partnership Ads.

How do you connect your account?

1. Go to Settings and open the Socials tab.
2. Click Connect next to Instagram or TikTok.
3. Log in to Instagram or TikTok and give permission. We never see your password.
4. Done! You'll now see Connected and we'll retrieve your figures.

Do you have a personal Instagram account?

You can only connect a Creator or Business account. Switching is free and takes a minute:

1. Open Instagram and go to Settings.
2. Tap Account type and tools.
3. Choose Switch to professional account, then Creator.

Then go back to Socials and click Connect again.

What do brands see?

On your profile, brands see the Organic performance tab with:

• your followers, average views per post and engagement;
• your latest posts;
• for Instagram, also your audience: top countries, top cities, age and gender.

Brands can also find you with the Organic performance filter in Find creators. You can see your own figures in My portfolio, in the Organic performance tab.

Good to know: brands don't simply see your username, a link to your profile or your messages. Only when you carry out an add-on does the brand see your account: for an organic post through the link you share, and for Partnership Ads we share your Instagram username once the order has been approved.

What can you offer next?

With a connected account you can add add-ons to your packages: an Organic post and Spark & Partnership Ads. For Spark Ads you need TikTok, for Partnership Ads Instagram. You set the price yourself. You can also respond to jobs that ask for add-ons. Read more in How do add-ons work?

How do you disconnect your account?

Go to Settings › Socials and click Disconnect. Your figures will then disappear from your profile. We automatically remove add-ons for that platform from your packages.

Can't connect?

• This account is already linked to another UGC.NL account: an Instagram or TikTok account can only be linked to one UGC.NL account.
• Cancelled or failed: try again via Connect.
• Personal Instagram account: switch to a Creator account first (see above).
