Important: UGC.NL monitors every chat to ensure user safety, prevent fraud, and identify violations of our rules.

UGC.NL provides clients with a secure environment to collaborate with carefully selected creators. To maintain the quality and protection of the platform, all communication, agreements, and payments must be conducted through UGC.NL.

Violations and Consequences
It is not permitted to ask creators to communicate outside of UGC.NL or to handle paid work directly. This includes requests to continue conversations via WhatsApp, personal email, social media, or other external communication channels.

Direct payments, personal invoices, payment requests, and bank transfers outside of UGC.NL are also prohibited.

If a violation is confirmed, UGC.NL may immediately and permanently block the client’s account. UGC.NL may deny both current and future access to the platform. New accounts linked to the same client or organisation may also be refused.

In cases of serious violations, UGC.NL may invoke article 6.4 of the general terms and conditions. Under this article, an immediate and fully payable fine of EUR 5,000 per violation and EUR 500 for each day or part of a day that the violation continues may apply.

Why Collaborating via UGC.NL is Safer

1. Manually Approved Creators
   Each creator is manually reviewed by UGC.NL before gaining access to assignments. This safeguards the quality and reliability of our network and reduces risks for clients.
2. Protected Payment
   The client pays the agreed amount through UGC.NL. The amount is held within our secure payment environment until the assignment is completed in accordance with the applicable process.
3. This means the amount is not transferred directly to the creator before delivery has taken place and the assignment has been officially accepted.
4. Support with Complaints
   If the delivered content does not meet the agreed briefing, the client can report this via UGC.NL. UGC.NL can review the briefing, chat, files, delivery, and any revisions.
5. If the complaint is justified and no suitable solution can be reached, the client can request cancellation through UGC.NL. After cancellation is approved, the applicable amount will be refunded according to the terms and conditions.
6. Protection During the Production Process
   Concepts and interim files may be watermarked. This content may only be published or used commercially once the final delivery has been officially accepted and the related usage rights have commenced.

How to Work Safely

1. Keep all communication, briefings, and agreements within UGC.NL
2. Make every payment through UGC.NL
3. Do not ask creators for personal contact or payment details
4. Always record changes and additional agreements in the chat
5. Report suspicious requests or possible violations to UGC.NL immediately

UGC.NL helps creators collaborate safely with reliable clients. To protect you, your work, and your income, all communication, agreements, and payments must take place through UGC.NL.

It is not permitted to conduct communication or payments outside of UGC.NL. This means, among other things, that you may not refer clients to WhatsApp, personal email, social media, payment requests, your own invoices, or direct bank transfers.

In the event of a violation, UGC.NL is entitled to immediately temporarily or permanently block a creator’s account.

As a result, the creator will lose:

1. Access to the UGC.NL platform
2. All collected reviews and earned badges
3. The ability to receive ongoing or future assignments via UGC.NL
4. The accumulated visibility and reputation within the platform

In cases of serious violations, UGC.NL may also invoke Article 6.4 of the general terms and conditions. Under this article, an immediate and fully payable fine of EUR 5,000 per violation and EUR 500 for each day or part of a day that the violation continues may apply.

Why Collaborating via UGC.NL is Safer

1. Payment Assurance
   As a creator, you only need to start an assignment after the client has paid via UGC.NL. The agreed amount is reserved within UGC.NL’s secure payment environment. This way, you know in advance that the budget for the assignment is available.
2. Payouts are made according to the terms and process of the specific assignment.
3. Protection of Your Content
   Concepts and interim videos are watermarked. The client may not publish, distribute, edit, or use these files for commercial purposes.
4. The usage rights only commence after the final content has been officially accepted via UGC.NL and the associated payment conditions have been met.
5. Support in Case of Issues
   If a dispute arises regarding the briefing, delivery, revisions, or payment, UGC.NL can review the communication and files within the platform. Communication outside UGC.NL cannot be monitored and protected in the same way.

How to Work Safely

3. Do not share personal contact details or direct payment information
4. Do not open suspicious links and do not grant access to your computer or accounts
5. Report any requests to communicate or pay outside UGC.NL immediately to UGC.NL
