Has your profile been approved? Then we'll first ask you for some details when you log in. This initial verification (first sign-on) is needed to handle orders and payouts correctly.
In short
- Once your profile has been approved, you fill in your details once.
- You indicate whether or not you have a business.
- Without these details, we can't pay you out.
What do we ask for during verification?
We ask for your personal details, such as your name, phone number and address. Then you answer the question Do you have a business?
- I don't have a business: your personal details are all we need.
- I have a business: we also ask for your company details.
If you have a business, we ask for things like:
- Company name
- Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number (or the registration number in your country)
- VAT number
- Legal form
- Whether you use the KOR scheme (Dutch small business scheme)
We need these details for correct invoicing and administration.
Why is this necessary?
We use these details to:
- process payments correctly;
- prepare invoices accurately;
- comply with legal obligations;
- keep collaborations safe and transparent.
Without these details, we can't make any payouts.
Payouts via Stripe
We process payments through our payment partner Stripe. To do this, we create a payment account for you. Stripe makes sure payouts are made securely and in line with the applicable rules. That's why we're required to request and check certain details before we can pay you out.
Stripe may ask for additional details later, such as a photo of your ID document or, for a company, details about its owners (UBO). Read how this works in Know your customers (KYC).
Good to know: did you start without a business and do you have one now? Go to Settings › Finance and click Switch next to Switch to business. If you still have open orders, complete those first.
Why do we ask for your BSN?
We ask for your BSN (citizen service number) because of DAC7. This is a European rule that requires platforms such as UGC.NL to report sellers' income to the tax authorities. That is why we also ask for your BSN if you already have a Chamber of Commerce and VAT number.
What does the KOR mean for your payout?
Do you use the Dutch small business scheme (KOR)? Then tick this during your first verification. You will not receive VAT on your orders. Has your situation changed? Update your choice via Settings › Finance.
