Has your application been rejected? Then your profile does not meet our quality requirements yet. That's a shame, but you can try again as often as you like.
How do you know you've been rejected?
You will receive an email from us. Your dashboard also shows the message Unfortunately, you have been rejected. The email sometimes includes a short explanation, but not with every rejection.
Why might your profile have been rejected?
We mainly review your highlight video and your portfolio videos. A profile is usually rejected for one of these reasons:
- The highlight video is missing or does not meet the requirements.
- The portfolio videos are not of sufficient quality.
- A social media channel is visible in a video, for example a TikTok or Instagram logo.
- Your profile has not been filled in completely.
Tip: take a look at ugc.nl/find-creators to see how approved creators build their highlight and portfolio videos. Compare that with your own profile: you will often quickly see what can be improved. You can read all requirements in What are the requirements to get started?
How do you get reviewed again?
You don't need to submit anything and there is no separate button. As soon as you upload a new video, your profile automatically goes back into review.
- Improve your videos and fill in your profile completely.
- Upload your new highlight video or portfolio video via My portfolio.
- Your profile is then automatically back in the review queue.
You can do this as often as you like. There is no maximum number of attempts.
How long does a new review take?
We aim for a maximum of 7 business days. When there are many applications, this is not always possible and it can take longer. Everyone gets their turn.
Good to know: a support ticket does not speed up the review. So there is no need to email us to be reviewed again.
What is the difference between rejected and blocked?
- Rejected: your profile does not meet our quality requirements yet. Upload new videos and we will review you again.
- Blocked: your access to the platform has been revoked because you violated the terms and conditions. Only then is a rejection final. Also read Stay Protected: The Off-Platform Policy for Creators.
