  • Creators - How do I receive the possible script & briefing?

    After payment, the client fills in the information for the job, such as the briefing, a script and any attachments. Everything you need to start properly and on time can be found in the order.

    In short

    • All job information is in the order, in the Details tab.
    • Does the package include Script & Briefing? Then you write them yourself.
    • Something unclear? Ask your question in the Activity chat of the order.
    Where can you find the job information?
    1. Go to Orders and open the order.
    2. Click the Details tab.

    Here you can see everything the client has provided. If the client has added new information, you will see a notification on the order.

    What is in Details?
    • Product name: the product the content is about.
    • Briefing: what the client expects from the content.
    • Script: a script or storyboard, if there is one.
    • Attachments: for example examples, documents or links.
    • For a physical product: the Track & Trace code, whether you may keep the product (Keep product) and a Return label if needed.

    For a physical product, the deadline only starts after you have confirmed receipt of the product with the Confirm button. Read more in When does the deadline start?

    Who writes the script and the briefing?

    That depends on the package the client has chosen:

    • The package includes Script & Briefing: you write the script and the briefing yourself. The client does not fill in these fields, so you will see a dash (-) there.
    • The package does not include Script & Briefing: the client provides the briefing and the script in Details.

    This keeps the agreements clear and prevents duplicate work.

    Is something unclear?

    Always read the job information carefully before you start. Is something unclear or is information missing? Ask your question in the Activity chat of the order. You can read how this chat works in How do I send interim videos or photos?

    Good to know: the client can still add attachments or a Track & Trace code later. You will see them straight away in Details.

  • Creators - What do the order statuses mean?

    In Orders you will find an overview of all your jobs. Every order has a status, so you can see at a glance where a job stands.

    In short

    • An order is Open first and becomes Active as soon as the client has paid.
    • After your delivery, the order is Delivered. The client then has 72 hours to respond.
    • After approval, the order is Completed and you are paid in the next payout round.
    What do you see in Orders?
    • All your orders in one place, with the newest at the top.
    • For each order: the date, the deadline, the amount and the status.
    • A search field and a status filter.

    Click View to open an order.

    What do the statuses mean?
    • Open: the client has created the order but has not paid yet. You cannot start yet. As a creator, you do not see open orders in your overview yet: the order appears as soon as the payment has gone through.
    • Active: the order has been paid and you can get started. If the client requests a revision, the order goes back to Active as well.
    • Delivered: you have delivered the content. The client has 72 hours to accept the content, request a revision or decline the delivery. If the client does not respond, the order is accepted automatically.
    • Completed: the content has been approved and the order is finished. You receive your payment in the next payout round. Read more in When will I be paid?
    • Cancelled: the order has been cancelled by you or by the client. You do not receive a payment and the client gets the amount paid back, excluding the service fee.
    Has the deadline passed?

    There is no separate status for that. The order stays Active and you will see an exclamation mark next to the deadline with the message "The deadline has passed." Read what you can do then in What if I miss the deadline?

    Good to know
    • The status changes automatically based on actions on the platform. You do not need to do anything yourself.
    • Have you requested a new deadline that has not been approved yet? Then you will see a calendar icon next to the status.
    • Has the client requested a revision? Then you will see a revision icon with the number of revisions next to the status.
    • For a physical product, the deadline shows a dash (-) until you have confirmed receipt of the product.

  • Creators - How do i cancel an order?

    Are you unable to complete a job after all? Then you can cancel the order yourself. Not sure yet? Talk to the client first in the Activity chat; you may be able to find a solution together.

    How do you cancel an order?
    1. Go to Orders and open the order.
    2. Click Cancel order. You will find this button above the package overview in the order.
    3. Choose a Reason for cancellation, for example Schedule not feasible, and add a short explanation.
    4. Click Cancel order again to confirm.

    You can cancel an order as long as it has the status Active or Delivered.

    Please note: cancelling cannot be undone.

    What happens after cancelling?
    • The order gets the status Cancelled.
    • The client gets the amount paid back, excluding the service fee, within 14 business days.
    • You do not receive a payment for this job.
    • In Details you can see who cancelled the order and for what reason.
    Can the client cancel too?

    Yes, in a few situations. For example when the deadline has passed, or for a physical product when you have not confirmed receipt yet. If the client cancels, you will receive an email about it.

    Tip: just can't make it in time? Then you don't have to cancel straight away. As long as the deadline has not passed, you can request a new deadline once. Read more in What if I miss the deadline?

  • Creators - What if i miss the deadline?

    It can happen that you miss a deadline. The job does not stop automatically, but it can have consequences. Can you see that you won't make it? Then request a new deadline in good time.

    In short

    • As long as the deadline has not passed, you can request a new deadline once per order. The client has to accept it.
    • Has the deadline passed? Then the order stays Active and you can still deliver.
    • After the deadline, the client may cancel the order and you can no longer change the deadline.
    How do you request a new deadline?
    1. Go to Orders and open the order.
    2. Click the Details tab.
    3. Next to Deadline, click Change.
    4. Choose a new date and confirm.

    The deadline does not change straight away. The client sees your request and chooses Accept or Reject. Until then, the deadline shows "(Not yet approved)". If the client rejects it, the original deadline stays in place.

    Please note: you can only request a new deadline once per order, and only as long as the deadline has not passed. The new date can be at most 9 days after the current deadline. For a physical product, this is only possible after you have confirmed receipt of the product.

    What happens when the deadline has passed?
    • The order stays Active. Next to the deadline you will see the message "The deadline has passed."
    • You will receive an email about it.
    • The client may now cancel the order. The amount paid then goes back to the client and you do not receive a payment.
    • You can no longer change the deadline.
    • It counts towards your Delivered on time percentage. Clients can see this percentage on your profile and it can affect your visibility.
    Can you still deliver the content?

    Yes. As long as the order has not been cancelled, you can simply deliver the content:

    1. Open the order and go to the Delivery tab.
    2. Upload your content.
    3. Click Deliver and confirm.

    The client can then review the content as usual. Read more in Where do I submit my content?

    What is the best thing to do?
    • Request a new deadline in good time, before the deadline, via Details.
    • Let the client know what is going on in the Activity chat.
    • Give a clear new delivery date.

    Good communication prevents misunderstandings and negative reviews.

    Good to know: for a physical product, the deadline only starts after you have confirmed receipt of the product with the Confirm button. Read more in When does the deadline start?

  • Creators - The client wants a revision, what now?

    Has the client asked for a revision? Then the client would like something changed. This is a normal part of the process and is usually sorted quickly.

    In short

    • You receive an email and the order goes back to Active.
    • You can read the reason for the revision in the order.
    • You deliver the adjusted content again via the Delivery tab.
    What happens when a revision is requested?

    When the client clicks Request revision:

    • you receive an email and a notification;
    • the order goes back to the status Active;
    • you see the message Revision requested in the order, with the Reason for revision below it.

    The reason explains what the client would like changed.

    How do you deliver the adjusted content?
    1. Open the order and go to the Delivery tab.
    2. Remove the old files you no longer want to include.
    3. Upload the adjusted content.
    4. Click Deliver and confirm.

    Please note: files you uploaded earlier are not replaced automatically. Remove the files that are no longer needed yourself, so the client only sees the right version.

    What happens next?

    After you deliver again, the client once more has 72 hours to accept the content, request another revision or decline the delivery.

    The number of revisions per video (1, 2 or 3) is set in the package. Read more in What can I offer?

    Tip: is the feedback not completely clear? Ask your question in the Activity chat. You can also show an interim version there first, protected with a watermark. Read more in How do I send interim videos or photos?

  • Creators - Where do i submit my content?

    You deliver your final content via the Delivery tab in the order. That way, everything to do with the delivery is clearly in one place.

    In short

    • Upload all files from the package in Delivery and click Deliver.
    • The client then has 72 hours to respond. Otherwise the order is accepted automatically.
    • Your files have a watermark until they are approved.
    How do you get to Delivery?
    1. Go to Orders.
    2. Open the order.
    3. Click the Delivery tab.
    How do you deliver?
    1. Upload your videos and, if the package includes them, your product photos and raw content. For each part you can see how many files the package requires.
    2. Check that everything is correct.
    3. Click Deliver.
    4. Confirm in the Confirm delivery window by clicking Deliver again.

    The Deliver button only works once all required files have been uploaded. Still uploading? Then tick Deliver automatically as soon as all files are ready. The job is then delivered automatically as soon as all files have been processed.

    Please note: always deliver your content via Delivery. Files you send in a chat do not count as a delivery. Would you like feedback along the way? Then use the Activity chat. Read more in How do I send interim videos or photos?

    What happens after delivery?

    The order gets the status Delivered. The client then has 72 hours to:

    • accept the content;
    • request a revision;
    • decline the delivery.

    If the client does not respond within 72 hours, the order is accepted automatically and gets the status Completed. After approval, the client can download all files without a watermark.

    Does the client request a revision? Then you deliver again via the same tab. Read more in The client wants a revision, what now?

  • Creators - How do I send interim videos or photos?

    Would you like to show an update, photo or video along the way? You do that in the Activity chat of the order. This is where you work on the job together with the client.

    Where can you find the Activity chat?

    Every order has its own Activity chat.

    1. Go to Orders and open the order.
    2. Click the Activity tab.

    In this chat you can:

    • share updates on your progress;
    • send interim photos and videos;
    • ask questions about the job;
    • receive feedback from the client.
    Why is there a watermark?

    Photos and videos you send in the Activity chat automatically get a watermark. That way you can safely share interim results before the job is finished. Only once the client has approved your delivery can they download the files without a watermark.

    Please note: do not share interim files in the regular chat under Messages; always use the Activity chat of the order. That is where they are protected with a watermark.

    What else do you see in the Activity chat?
    • Your messages and those of the client.
    • Shared photos, videos and files.
    • Updates about the order, such as a requested deadline change or the delivery.

    Tip: is the client happy with the interim version? Then deliver the final files via the Delivery tab. Read more in Where do I submit my content?

  • Creators - Is there a chat function?

    Yes. All communication with clients takes place via the chat on the platform. That way, agreements, messages and files are clearly kept in one place.

    In short

    • You can find your conversations under Messages in the menu.
    • In the chat you discuss the job and you can send a package.
    • Is there an order running? Then use the Activity chat in the order.
    • Keep all contact and payments on UGC.NL.
    Where can you find your messages?

    Has a company sent you a message? You will find it under Messages in the menu. Here you can see all your conversations with clients and open them.

    What do you use the chat for?
    • Discussing the job.
    • Asking or answering questions.
    • Agreeing on the content and expectations.
    • Agreeing on a package together. In the chat you can send a package from your portfolio or a custom package. Read more in How do I offer a custom package?

    The chat is mainly meant for contact before and during a job.

    What can you do in the chat?

    The chat works like other messaging apps. Among other things, you can:

    • send and receive messages;
    • see whether your messages have been read;
    • share photos, videos and files;
    • send a package.
    Chat or Activity chat?

    Is there already an order? Then use the Activity chat in that order for updates and interim files. Photos and videos automatically get a watermark there. You deliver your final content via the Delivery tab, not via the chat. Read more in How do I send interim videos or photos?

    Please note: keep all contact and payments on UGC.NL. For a safe experience, we monitor the chats. So do not share a phone number, email address, IBAN or socials. Read more in Stay Protected: The Off-Platform Policy for Creators.

    In short

    • In the chat, click the package icon with the plus sign.

    2. Click the package icon with the plus sign.
    3. Choose one of the options:
      • Portfolio package: share an existing package from your portfolio.
      • Custom package: create a custom offer for this client.
    Sharing a portfolio package

    If you choose Portfolio package, click one of your existing packages to share it in the chat. These are the packages you have set up in your portfolio (Basic, Standard and Premium). You can read how to change them in How do I change my packages?

    Creating a custom package

    If you choose Custom package, you put together a new package for this job step by step. Among other things, you fill in:

    • a short description;
    • the number of videos, the length per video and the number of hooks;
    • the number of product photos;
    • extra options, such as Video editing or Raw content;
    • the number of revisions and the delivery time;
    • the price (excl. VAT).

    • After payment, you will see the View order button in the chat and the order appears in Orders.

    • Withdraw offer: take the offer back. The client can then no longer pay for it.

  • Creators - How do i get assignments?

    There are two ways to get jobs: clients find you via Find creators, and you respond to jobs yourself under Jobs. The better and more complete your profile, the bigger the chance you will be chosen.

    In short

    • Clients search and filter creators on the Find creators page.
    • Under Jobs you respond to job posts that match your profile with a pitch and a price proposal.
    • You can accept an unlimited number of jobs.
    How do clients find you?

    On Find creators, clients search for creators. Among other things, they filter by language, country, age, rank, price and niche. They look at:

    • your portfolio and videos;
    • your packages and prices;
    • your languages and niches;
    • your performance, such as Delivered on time and Response time.

    Based on this, they send you a message or order one of your packages straight away.

    How do you respond to Jobs?

    Under Jobs, companies post jobs for which they are looking for creators. You only see job posts that match your profile, and you get a notification when there are new matching jobs.

    1. Go to Jobs in the menu.
    2. Open a job that suits your style, niche or experience.
    3. Write a short, personal pitch and include your price proposal.
    4. Send your proposal.

    The client is notified right away. Is your proposal accepted? Then the job automatically appears in your Orders. You can find the proposals you have sent under My proposals.

    How do you get more jobs?

    You have a lot of influence on how often you are chosen. Make sure that:

    Active and reliable creators are chosen more often and get new opportunities faster. Clients can also filter by rank. You can read how to reach a higher rank in How does our ranking system work?

    Please note: if you have not been online for 30 days, your packages (Basic, Standard and Premium) are set to inactive. Your profile stays visible and clients can still send you a message, but they cannot order your packages directly. After 20 days offline, you first receive an email about this. As soon as you are online again, your packages are reactivated automatically.

    Not getting any orders yet?

    Have you been approved, but you're not getting any messages or orders? Then you're probably harder to find.

    • Try other niches. Beauty and fashion are very crowded.
    • Make your highlight video match your niche. Is your niche pets, for example? Then use a highlight video with your dog in it.

  • Creators - What can i offer?

    As a creator, you decide what you offer. In your packages, you set out which content you deliver, how quickly you deliver it and which extra options are included. That way, clients can see exactly what to expect from you.

    In short

    • You have three fixed packages: Basic, Standard and Premium.
    • Some parts you choose from fixed options, others you fill in yourself.
    • A package costs at least €59 (excl. VAT).
    Which packages do you have?

    You put together three fixed packages: Basic, Standard and Premium. The Basic package is always switched on. You can switch Standard and Premium on or off yourself with Available. You can read how to change your packages in How do I change my packages?

    Which parts do you choose from fixed options?
    • Video length: 15, 30 or 60 seconds.
    • Delivery time: 1–2, 3–5, 6–8 or 9–12 days.
    • Revisions per video: 1, 2 or 3.
    Which parts do you fill in yourself?
    • Price: from €59 (excl. VAT).
    • Number of videos: from 1 video.
    • Product photos: free to fill in.
    • Number of hooks: free to fill in. A hook is the first 1 to 3 seconds of your video.

    This lets you tailor your offer completely to your own way of working and experience.

    Which extra options can you add?

    You decide yourself which extra options are included in your package:

    • Script & Briefing
    • Video editing
    • Voice-over
    • Subtitles
    • Music
    • Raw content

    Extra options make your package more complete.

    Good to know: do you offer Script & Briefing? Then you write the script and the briefing yourself for an order. Read more in How do I receive the possible script & briefing?

    Want to offer something different?

    Does your fixed offer not suit a job? Then send a tailored custom package in the chat. Read more in How do I offer a custom package?
